Uganda, May 4 -- The South Ankole Diocese Bishop, Rt Rev Nathan Ahimbisibwe, has urged journalists to uphold professional ethics and promote development, peace and personal economic growth in their work.

Speaking during World Press Freedom Day celebrations after hosting journalists from Ntungamo District at his residence, Bishop Ahimbisibwe said media practitioners must ensure their reporting remains credible and free from influence that could mislead the public.

"When you are on radio, a lot of people listen to you, whatever you say or write, they trust what you say, if you say anything that is against someone, you may cause fire, but you can also choose to avoid causing that fire. It doesn't hurt anyone if you don't cause the fire," B...
