Uganda, April 25 -- The government has earmarked Shs800 billion to upgrade 121 traditional secondary schools and 10 special-needs institutions nationwide, Ms Juliet Atuhire Muzoora, the Commissioner of Government Secondary Schools at the Ministry of Education and Sports, has disclosed.
The initiative aims to modernise education infrastructure and improve learning environments nationwide.
Ms Muzoora told this publication during an interview from Soroti City, but remained tight-lipped on when the drive commences.
