Sri Lanka, Aug. 12 -- Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa's son Yoshitha Rajapaksa left the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) a short while ago after recording a statement.

Rajapaksa had appeared before the CID this morning in connection with an ongoing investigation.
