Sri Lanka, July 14 -- Referring to reports that President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has cancelled his tour to France as a member of the delegation has been denied a visa, Opposition MP Mujibur Rahman today questioned whether this is necessary for a cancellation of an important official tour.

"We also heard that the President's tour to France had been cancelled. Is the denial of the visa for one member of the delegation a reason to cancel it," the MP questioned.
