Sri Lanka, Oct. 26 -- Another tragic railway accident was reported from Koggala on October 25. A bus carrying school children had crashed into an express train at the Koggala-Habaraduwa railway crossing. At least 10 children have been injured following the collision. According to media reports, the bus driver has ignored railway signals. But this is one among many other dangerous railway crossings along the Southern railway line. Another dangerous railway crossing falls near the Wanawasala station in Wattala along the Thelangapatha road. The railway crossing has two railway tracks but there are no gates on either side.
