Sri Lanka, May 8 -- Viet Nam and Sri Lanka signed five Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) covering areas including tourism, security cooperation, religious and cultural affairs, civil and commercial engagement, transport, economic cooperation, as well as science and technology.

The MoUs were formally exchanged this morning at the Presidential Secretariat in the presence of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake and the President of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam and General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Viet Nam, To Lm, the President's Media Division (PMD) said.
