Two suspects remanded over Kapila's suspicious bail surety arrangement
Sri Lanka, May 12 -- Two more suspects arrested for allegedly arranging sureties for former SriLankan Airlines Chief Executive Officer Kapila Chandrasena, who was granted bail while in remand custody over the procurement of a fleet of ten aircraft for SriLankan Airlines in 2013, were ordered to be remanded till tomorrow by Colombo Additional Magistrate Lahiru Silva today.
The two suspects, identified as Tissa and Ganesh, were arrested by the Keselwatta Police and produced before court.
Earlier, two other suspects, namely Mohamed Rizwan and Mohamed Irshan of Sanchi Arachchiwatte had also been remanded in connection with the same incident.
