Sri Lanka, Sept. 3 -- Two Sri Lankan suspects wanted for investigations into drugs, illegal possession of firearms and organised crime have been deported from Abu Dhabi and handed over to Sri Lankan authorities.

The two suspects were arrested by UAE security authorities after they were found storing videos on their mobile phones showing drones and missiles used by Iran to attack the United Arab Emirates, including footage of the weapons hitting targets and exploding.

One of the suspects has been identified as Dissanayake Mudiyanselage Bandula Dissanayake, 37, of Dunkannawa, Ashokapura. He is wanted in Sri Lanka in connection with drug-related offences and illegal possession of firearms.
