Sri Lanka, March 31 -- Two out-of-service train compartments parked near the Galle Railway Station caught fire today.

Reports indicated that four disused train compartments had been stationed in the area, with two of them affected by the sudden blaze.

Firefighters were deployed to the scene, and efforts to douse the flames were ongoing at the time of reporting.

No injuries have been reported in connection with the incident.
