Sri Lanka, July 8 -- Toastmasters International District 82 has commenced its 2026-2027 leadership year with a newly elected District Executive Committee, pledging to strengthen member engagement and promote leadership and communication excellence across the district.

The new leadership team is headed by District Director Bhathiya Hettiarachchi, DTM, with Piyakara Jayarathne, DTM, serving as Program Quality Director and Hingston Lovell as Club Growth Director.

The District Executive Committee said its key priorities for the year include enhancing the member experience, supporting educational excellence, strengthening clubs and fostering sustainable growth throughout District 82.
