Sri Lanka, Sept. 30 -- Speaking at the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly, India's External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar warned that unresolved conflicts are undermining peace, obstructing progress, and penalising innocent nations, urging the UN to renew its purpose as an instrument of justice and lasting peace. Jaishankar further observed that the inability to maintain peace is not just undermining security, but also threatening progress and retarding development.
