Sri Lanka, March 20 -- A systematic procedure is being prepared to ensure an adequate fuel supply for container trucks, as part of efforts to ease congestion at the Colombo Port and maintain the smooth flow of imports and exports.

Minister of Ports and Civil Aviation Anura Karunathilake has initiated steps to introduce a structured system to provide sufficient fuel for container transport vehicles. The move aims to expedite the clearance of imported containers from the port and ensure export containers are delivered on time, safeguarding the country's export revenue.
