SriLanka, Sept. 13 -- The Colombo Marathon 2026 - "Steps for Peace and Humanity", organised by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, was held this morning (Sept. 13) at Baladaksha Mawatha, Colombo, with the participation of approximately 4,000 local and foreign runners.

The event featured the 42km Full Marathon, 21km Half Marathon, and 10km and 5km Fun Runs. The marathon was held under the patronage of Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Sunil Kumara Gamage and Deputy Minister of Youth Affairs Dinindu Saman Hennayake
