Sri Lanka, Aug. 5 -- The Sri Lankan Rupee has appreciated slightly against the US Dollar today (August 5) compared to Tuesday, according to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL).

The CBSL's indicative exchange rates show that the buying rate of the US Dollar has decreased to Rs. 331.08 from Rs. 331.14 recorded on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the selling rate of the US Dollar has also declined to Rs. 340.13 from Rs. 340.21.

The USD selling rate remains around the Rs. 340 level.
