SriLanka, March 15 -- The Sri Lankan government has implemented a QR Code-based National Fuel Authorization System for fuel distribution across the country starting 6.00 a.m. on March 15, 2026.

Under this system, fuel will not be issued from any filling station without a valid QR code linked to a registered vehicle.
