Sri Lanka, Aug. 11 -- A dispute between a specialist doctor and the acting Deputy Director of Sri Jayawardenapura General Hospital has been referred to a mediation board following complaints made to the Welikada Police.

According to reports, the acting Deputy Director complained to police alleging that the specialist doctor had threatened her during an incident at the hospital.

The dispute reportedly arose when the specialist doctor had gone to discuss a problem at the hospital. It is alleged that the acting Deputy Director ordered the doctor to leave the room instead of addressing the issue.
