Sri Lanka, April 28 -- While being critical of certain media institutions, Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) MP S.M. Marikkar said today that some media institutions are trying to control politicians like him.

"These media institutions want us to act in a certain way but are now willing to work in accordance with their agendas," he said in this regard.

"However, my sentiment does not mean we are against the media," he added.
