Sri Lanka, July 16 -- The Sri Lanka Accreditation Board (SLAB) has commenced a fully digital transformation of its accreditation procedures, administrative operations and accounting systems to enhance the global recognition and credibility of Sri Lankan products and services.

The initiative was launched yesterday (15) in Colombo under the patronage of Trade, Commerce, Food Security and Cooperative Development Minister Wasantha Samarasinghe.

The event was attended by representatives from accreditation bodies in the Asia-Pacific region, including Global Accreditation Cooperation Forum Chairman Brahim Howla and officials from the Asia Pacific Accreditation Cooperation.
