Sri Lanka, Aug. 20 -- Sri Lanka is to spend USD 1,878 million for the electrification of railway services across the island within the next three years, Deputy Minister Prasanna Gunasena told Parliament today.

He said the Maradana-Ragama line is one of the railway lines which will be subjected to electrification.
