SriLanka, Sept. 11 -- Abdul Razak Mohamed Basik, the father of notorious drug trafficker Shiran Basik, has been arrested in connection with an investigation into the purchase of an apartment valued at more than Rs. 30 million.

He was arrested by the Colombo Central Crime Investigation Bureau during an investigation into the purchase of the apartment at a housing complex in Gampaha.
