Sri Lanka, March 13 -- A large stock of narcotics seized during raids conducted by the Police Narcotics Bureau is scheduled to be destroyed today (13) under court orders.

The stock of narcotics scheduled to be destroyed includes 40.533 kg of heroin, 132.79 kg of ketamine, 55 grams of cocaine, and 3,482 narcotic pills.

According to police, the narcotics will be incinerated at the Lactowatta incinerator in Vanathavilluwa in the Puttalam District.

Police said that the destruction follows the conclusion of cases heard before the Colombo High Court.
