Sri Lanka, March 9 -- Steps have been taken to ensure the safety of Sri Lankans residing in Northern Israel, Sri Lankan Ambassador in Israel said yesterday.

The Ambassador said the following on the situation in his latest social media post.

I would like to draw your attention to the security of Sri Lankans serving in the northern region of Israel due to the current conflict situation.

It has been observed that the number of airstrikes by the Israeli Defense Forces on the southern region of Lebanon, as well as the number of missile attacks by Hezbollah on the northern region of Israel is increasing.
