Sri Lanka, March 16 -- An unusual scene was reported from Mahiyanganaya where two men were seen carrying one scooter on another while searching for petrol, as fuel shortages continue in the area.

A video of the incident, now circulating widely on social media, shows the two men riding a scooter while transporting another scooter by balancing it between them.

According to comments heard in the video, the riders said they were able to find fuel only for one scooter and decided to carry the other vehicle while continuing their search for petrol.

Residents said several filling stations in Mahiyanganaya had run out of petrol, and many fuel sheds had drawn lines to prevent vehicles from entering due to the shortage.
