Sri Lanka, April 7 -- The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) has announced scheduled water supply suspensions as reservoir levels feeding the Labugama and Kalatuwawa water treatment plants continue to decline due to the prevailing dry weather.

With both plants operating under reduced capacity, authorities said water availability has been limited, prompting the implementation of time-bound supply interruptions in several areas.
