Sri Lanka, March 31 -- Parliamentary leader of the ruling United Russia party in the State Duma, Vladimir Vasilyev, met with Sri Lanka's Minister of Transport, Highways and Urban Development and Leader of the House, Bimal Rathnayake, during a meeting held at the State Duma.
Discussions focused on strengthening inter-parliamentary cooperation between Russia and Sri Lanka, with both sides emphasising the importance of longstanding historical ties.
The two parties also agreed to revive the parliamentary friendship group to further enhance collaboration between the two nations.
