Sri Lanka, April 23 -- The Sri Lankan rupee weakened further against the US dollar across commercial banks today (23), with the selling rate reaching Rs. 321.

At NDB Bank, the dollar's buying rate rose from Rs. 313.25 to Rs. 314.50, while the selling rate increased from Rs. 319.75 to Rs. 321.

People's Bank also recorded an uptick, with the buying rate climbing from Rs. 313.35 to Rs. 314.34 and the selling rate rising from Rs. 320.26 to Rs. 321.27.

Meanwhile, Seylan Bank reported the buying rate increasing from Rs. 313.60 to Rs. 314, and the selling rate from Rs. 318.85 to Rs. 319.75.

At Commercial Bank, the buying rate moved up from Rs. 311.81 to Rs. 312.80, while the selling rate edged higher from Rs. 320.25 to Rs. 321.25.
