Sri Lanka, July 15 -- Two people were killed and a pregnant woman was seriously injured following a collision between a motorcycle and a "Sisu Seriya" school bus in the Mihindupura area of Anuradhapura this morning (15), police said.

Police said the motorcycle was carrying three people - two men and a woman - when it collided with the bus, which was transporting schoolchildren. The two men travelling on the motorcycle died at the scene.

The injured woman has been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Anuradhapura Teaching Hospital for treatment.
