SriLanka, July 5 -- Road access in parts of the Matale and Nuwara Eliya districts remains affected following recent adverse weather conditions, the Disaster Management Centre (DMC) said.

They said roads in the Riverston area of the Matale District, which were damaged by Cyclone Ditvah, have been reopened only for light vehicle traffic.

Meanwhile, a landslide in the Kudagama area has partially blocked the Hatton-Nuwara Eliya Road in the Nuwara Eliya District. Vehicle movement is currently restricted to a single lane, and motorists have been advised to exercise caution and expect delays while travelling through the area.
