Sri Lanka, Aug. 20 -- The Anti-Corruption Amendment Bill which was presented to Parliament yesterday provides provisions to make post retirement declaration of assets and liabilities legal. The amendment of Section 90 of the Anti-Corruption Act of 2023 allows a person to declare his or her assets and liabilities even after retirement.

Section 88 of the Act is to be amended to make clarity to declaration of assets and liabilities and protects the privacy of the declaration of assets and liabilities.
