Sri Lanka, May 13 -- The Road Development Authority (RDA) has urged motorists to strictly adhere to warning messages displayed on electronic signboards while travelling on expressways, in view of the prevailing adverse weather conditions across the country.

The authority has also advised drivers to use headlights during daytime travel, as poor visibility caused by dark and foggy conditions continues to affect several areas.

Furthermore, the RDA has called on the public to maintain safe and manageable speeds-particularly within the 60 km/h limit-and to keep a sufficient distance from other vehicles to reduce the risk of accidents.
