Sri Lanka, May 26 -- Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya is scheduled to visit Pakistan in late June, High Commissioner of Pakistan, Major General Dr. Nayyar Naseer said.

He said this during a discussion with Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, Land and Irrigation, K.D. Lal Kantha at the Ministry of Agriculture.

Minister Lal Kantha said politically, Pakistan is a country that has never exerted undue pressure on Sri Lanka and thanked Pakistan for supporting Sri Lanka unconditionally and for not seeking political advantage.

He said Pakistan's involvement regarding the US-Iran conflict is commendable.
