Sri Lanka, March 21 -- A meeting between Anura Kumara Dissanayake and party leaders was held yesterday afternoon (20) at Parliament to discuss pressing national concerns.
During the discussion, the President highlighted the global energy crisis triggered by the ongoing tensions in the Middle East and its impact on Sri Lanka's energy sector and overall economy. He also briefed party leaders on the steps already taken by the Government to mitigate these challenges and ensure stability.
The meeting was attended by Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa, along with Rauff Hakeem, Mano Ganesan and several other party representatives.
