Sri Lanka, Aug. 12 -- Former Sri Lanka Cricket Selection Committee Chairman Pramodya Wickramasinghe has decided to take legal action against Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) and the Cricket Transformation Committee over the premature termination of his tenure.

He said that the manner in which the selection committee he headed was removed had damaged his reputation and caused him financial and professional losses.

Wickramasinghe said a Letter of Demand had previously been sent over what he described as the arbitrary termination of his contract, but no positive response had been received.
