Sri Lanka, Aug. 5 -- Parliament approved the salary increment of the Auditor General today.

Accordingly, the salary of the Auditor General will be similar to that of a Ministry Secretary.

The proposal was approved by the Parliamentary Committee on Public Finance (CoPF) on Tuesday.
