Sri Lanka, Oct. 9 -- Padukka Railway Station has won a merit award in the state sector at the National Productivity Awards 2025/2026, organised by the National Productivity Secretariat under the Ministry of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development.

The railway station was selected for the award among several state institutions that submitted applications for the national-level competition.

It is also reported to be the first railway station in Sri Lanka to receive a productivity award.

Padukka Railway Station has been nominated for the state awards on several occasions and has received recognition for its performance.
