Sri Lanka, Oct. 9 -- Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya told Parliament today that a one-off permit had been issued to a private company in 2024 to export rock stones to the Maldives.

She said the permit was granted to export rock stones piled up near the Magampura Port, with the aim of clearing the area.
