Sri Lanka, Oct. 28 -- Nuwara Eliya recorded the lowest minimum temperature in Sri Lanka at 15.0C on Wednesday (October 28), according to the Department of Meteorology.

Badulla recorded a minimum temperature of 19.8C, while Katugastota recorded 21.8C and Rathnapura 23.8C.

Vavuniya recorded a minimum temperature of 24.0C, while Mullaitivu recorded 24.2C. Maha Illuppallama and Kurunegala each recorded 24.6C, while Polonnaruwa recorded 24.4C.

Hambantota recorded 24.5C, while Batticaloa and Matara (Mattala) recorded 24.9C each. Anuradhapura recorded 25.2C, Trincomalee 25.0C and Pothuvil 25.7C.
