Sri Lanka, Aug. 30 -- NPP's local government member representing the Vadamarachchi South-West Pradeshiya Sabha, Ganesaruban along with several of his friends, was arrested by the Nelliyadi Police for allegedly trespassing into the house of a retired government officer in Nelliyadi, Jaffna, while intoxicated and damaging the house and property.

At around midnight today (30 August), Ganesaruban, the NPP Pradeshiya Sabha member, and his friends allegedly entered the house in the Nelliyadi town area while under the influence of alcohol. They are accused of damaging the house's security camera, forcibly entering the premises, and issuing death threats to the occupants.
