Sri Lanka, July 21 -- The Opposition handed over the no confidence motion on Minister of Justice Harshana Nanayakkara to Speaker Jagath Wickramaratne today.

A group of Opposition MPs led by Chief Opposition Whip Gayantha Karunatilaka and Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) General Secretary Ranjith Madduma Bandara handed over the motion.

The main allegation against Minister Nanayakkara is his failure to prevent the recent clash at the Negombo prison.
