Sri Lanka, July 24 -- President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has appointed M. K. Saman Sri Ratnayake as the new Chairman and a member of the Delimitation Commission.

According to the President's Media Division (PMD), M. B. Rohana Pushpakumara and K. Thavalingam have been appointed as the other members of the Commission.

The letters of appointment were handed over to the newly appointed officials by Secretary to the President Dr Nandika Sanath Kumanayake at the Presidential Secretariat this afternoon (24).

The appointments were made to fill vacancies that arose following the expiry of the terms of office of the previous members of the Delimitation Commission.
