Sri Lanka, Sept. 29 -- Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa, who was named as a suspect in the case filed by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption in connection with the Krrish transaction, was ordered to be remanded till October 6 by Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Bodaragama.

During the proceedings, the investigating officer appearing for the CIABOC informed Court that the Indian Government had notified that the funds used in connection with the Krrish transaction were proceeds generated through money laundering.
