Sri Lanka, Aug. 21 -- Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa left the Police Financial Crimes Investigation Division (FCID) today after recording a statement for nearly six hours.

Rajapaksa arrived at the FCID this morning in response to a summons issued in connection with an ongoing investigation.

He provided a statement to investigators as part of the inquiry before leaving the premises.
