Sri Lanka, April 21 -- Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) National Organiser Namal Rajapaksa has accused the government of politicising investigations into the Easter Sunday attacks, alleging selective action and misplaced blame.

Speaking to journalists at Nelum Mawatha yesterday (20), Namal claimed that individuals linked to funding aspects of the attacks, including a National List figure identified as Ibrahim, were being shielded while authorities continued to target others.

He criticised what he described as inconsistencies in the investigation, pointing to the arrest of former minister Sivanesathurai Chandrakanthan (Pillayan) in connection with the attacks, while also being produced in court over a separate murder case.
