Sri Lanka, April 23 -- In the wake of controversy surrounding accumulation of assets by ministers, Cabinet Spokesman Minister Nalinda Jayatissa said yesterday assets earned by politicians are not an issue as long as they can reveal how they were earned.

The Minister told the weekly briefing to announce Cabinet decisions that every politician must reveal their true assets and liabilities which would allow people to see whether they have earned it in a reasonable way.

Responding to a question about Minister Lal Kantha's assets, the Minister said Minister Lal kantha had sent a letter of demand to a private Television channel and that he will take action regarding that.
