Minister's daughter residing in house belonging to Diaspora member in UK: Chamara
Sri Lanka, May 19 -- The daughter of a Minister who is engaged in higher studies in the UK is currently lodging in a house belonging to a member of the Tamil diaspora, Opposition MP Chamara Sampath Dassanayake alleged in Parliament.
"We don't blame Ministers for associating with diaspora members but those in the government should mention that they are associating with them while associating with others. We have to reveal this information though we don't want to disturb the victory day celebration," the MP said.
The MP came up with a number of allegations based on various issues and thereby said a certain official attached to the Commission to Investigate Allegations on Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) is playing the role of an executor. ...
