Sri Lanka, Sept. 29 -- The case against Administrator of Mihintalen Handak YouTube Channel Ajith Edirisinghe on the charge of contempt of court was taken up yesterday before Anuradhapura District Judge Sampath Hewawasam.

He is alleged to have violated the court order to refrain from telecasting any programme bringing disrepute to the Chief Incumbent of the Mihintale Rajamaha Vihara Ven. Walawahengunawewe Dhammarathana Thera.

The Ven. Thera has filed a defamation case against the respondent for telecasting programmes on the Mihintalen HandakYouTube Channel as the court had issued a restraining order on further telecast of any programme related to the Mihintale temple or Ven.
