Sri Lanka, Oct. 30 -- An individual posing as a female medical student who cheated an elderly expatiate worker and fraudulently obtained Rs. 1.8 million and a stock of goods as presents was produced before Galle Magistrate Sameera Dodangoda and remanded till November 12.

Posing as a female medical student through AI technology, he had pretended to be in love with the 71 year old victim and obtained money and goods from him.
