Sri Lanka, April 27 -- Suspect attorney arrested for allegedly aiding and abetting the murder of an individual named Ganemulla Sanjeewa inside a Colombo Magistrate's Court was today produced before Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Bodaragama by the Criminal Investigation Department.

The suspect, Attorney-at-Law Thamara Kumari Aberathna, who had been held under a six-month detention order, was remanded till May 7 by the Colombo Chief Magistrate.

On a request by counsel appearing for the suspect, the Magistrate directed prison authorities to provide special protection to her while in custody.
