Sri Lanka, March 11 -- LAUGFS Gas PLC has announced a revision of domestic Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) refill prices with effect from midnight today (11).

According to the company, the price of a 12.5 kg domestic LPG cylinder in the Colombo District has been increased by Rs. 300, raising the new price from Rs. 4,330 to Rs. 4,630.

Meanwhile, the price of the 5 kg LPG cylinder has been increased by Rs. 120, bringing the new price from Rs. 1,742 to Rs. 1,862 in the Colombo District.

LAUGFS Gas said that the price revision was necessitated due to prevailing global geopolitical developments and ongoing conflicts that have affected international energy markets.
