Sri Lanka, Oct. 30 -- For nearly three months, customers have faced difficulties securing LAUGFS Gas cylinders, leaving households frustrated and placing additional pressure on distributors and dealers struggling to meet demand.

The shortage has raised concerns about the reliability of domestic gas supplies, particularly among families that depend on liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) for their daily cooking needs. Consumers who have traditionally relied on LAUGFS Gas are now uncertain about when regular supplies will resume.

The Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA) is considering legal action against LAUGFS Gas PLC over the prolonged disruption, according to an official familiar with the matter.
